So Thursday night was date night! We haven't had a night alone in quite some time. But, it couldn't start until the babysitter got here. Until then, we continued to work on the house. We started to paint the dining room and prep the hall to be painted as well.
On to the date. After getting ready, we headed down to Olive Garden for diner. It felt weird at first, not having Savannah with us, but we quickly got over that. Olive Garden was nice. Cait ordered the Stuffed Chicken Marsala, and I had the Manicotti. Apparently there was a back order on the chicken, and the poor waiter thought we were going to be upset that we had to wait a little bit. But we didn't mind (mainly since we haven't been on a date in quite some time). After diner, it was off to the movies. Hopefully, by now you've figured out what we saw (although we saw the 2D version). It was a really good movie. We laughed through most of it and had a really great time. I think that this is going to be a movie that we're going to end up owning when it's out on DVD (or Blu Ray). We got home around 2300ish and Savannah was still up! I'm really sure if she was aware of anything going on, but her eyes were open. Cait took the babysitter home and I put Savannah down to bed. That's it for this post.
